ANGEL APPEARS IN HOSPITAL ROOM

We often think about "Christmas miracles." Even among people who don't profess any strong religious sentiments, this is a season in which we as a nation are more prone to believe that God can actively cause miracles in our lives and give us much needed hope.

We want to believe that our lives, circumstances and problems are worth enough to gain the attention of our God -- not realizing that the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross should have settled the matter already.

But, we find that when we turn to God with our whole heart, miracles do indeed occur. Take, for instance, this news item that has been reported in the media; in which a family prayed for health stricken, 15 year old Chelsea Banton and the miraculous occurred -- an angel made an appearance at their hospital room! The image was captured by both hospital surveillance cameras and a phone camera. Hospital staff were stunned.

Chelsea, who was battling a wide range of life-threatening ailments, made a dramatic improvement at the time of the appearance of the angel and has been subsequently removed from intensive care and released from the hospital.

Thank God! Chelsea and her family have seen the miraculous hand of God in their lives. Have you?

We, too, can be sure that He does hear our prayers and is concerned about our lives. But will we earnestly turn to Him with our whole heart and commit our lives to His plan and purpose for His glory?
