O'REILLY FACTOR: Best Commentary on the Arizona Shooting

It's outrageous how the left is creating a political circus over the shooting in Arizona. Bill O'Reilly has presented the best commentary on the situation and is must viewing for everyone desiring to sift through the "rhetoric" and understand truth.

I'm sure that after all is said and done, we're going to find out that the Tucson Police Department has long known about this killer, Jerad Loughner, and did nothing about him.

This attempt to implicate the whole right wing and deny the right wing of their free speech is an attempt to

1) discredit and discourage the rise of conservatism by the left;
2) hide the truth of how inept the Tucson Police Department was in excusing Loughner for his history of threats and violent behavior.

HOPE FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

One of the timeless joys of Christmastime I had growing up is something that today's youth no little of: a televised Christmas show with Bob Hope.

Quite often it might be a comedy special with noted celebrities, or it might be a performance before our servicemen during the Vietnam war.

I don't know if there's any modern-day entertainer who can rival Bob Hope for all that he's done for America. Jerry Lewis comes to mind, but he's the last from an era not to return again. In times of crisis, as this nation is presently in, where are the Bob Hopes? It seems that every major entertainer is critical of our nation and openly hostile to her.

If we ever needed a Bob Hope -- it's right now. So, it's time to recall Hope's legacy again. Even Bill O'Reilly last night ran a segment on Bob here.

The following is a segment from 2003's 100 YEARS OF HOPE AND HUMOR, celebrating Hope's centennial. Hope would die a few months after this airing.

This segment highlights Bob's heroism and sacrificial tours of duty for our armed forces.

The second part is a bit more sentimental and worth viewing. But it's probably a sign of the times that we don't have any noted celebrity that receives the kind of honor given Bob. Today's entertainers can learn a thing or two from him.

A LIGHT TO SAN FRANCISCO

I marveled over this segment from the O'Reilly Factor: a Christian woman, Christine Cloud, went to bring the light of the gospel to a gay district in San Francisco and got clobbered by a gay man with the woman's own bible. Here she tells her story to Bill O'Reilly.

I'm so glad this woman showed the love of Christ throughout the segment and throughout the incident -- I loved the way she handled herself and I praised God that Christians are going to make a greater impact upon a dying world.

And her last statement was precious: she says that she only went to to San Francisco to tell them not to feel condemned but to know the love of God.
