DUTCH SHEETS ON THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS

My own assessment of the election is this: if you remember the word given to Julie Meyer in which the Lord said, "If the cry for mercy outweighs the cry for change" then McCain will win. Unfortunately, I believe that the cry for change was louder: even within the church. That's why we lost.

This is Dutch Sheets response to the Presidential Elections:

November 6, 2008

Greetings!

I feel certain that many in my stream of the Church want a statement from me concerning Tuesday's presidential election. I will be frank in my remarks but I do not, however, intend to vent anger or attack anyone. I have read several statements from friends and colleagues I respect very much. Their thoughts are well stated and, for the most part, insightful. None of them, however, seem to want to say some things that I believe need to be said. I do not claim infallibility or to have the final word, but my convictions run deep and I believe I bear a God-given responsibility to share them.

Was This God's Will?

Was what happened Tuesday God's will? I am quite confident it was not. America was offered a very clear choice between moving further toward protecting the unborn or further away; between a Supreme Court that would move toward honoring God, life and morality or away from it. The stakes couldn't have been higher nor the cost greater. As a nation we put on blinders concerning Barak Obama's background, associations, beliefs and practices, and set these causes back years, possibly decades. And in doing so we took another step away from God and His plans for America, and another step toward judgment.

Judgment Will Increase

This is not a fire and brimstone warning from an angry, legalistic preacher. In fact, I feel more sadness and grief than anything else. Perhaps I feel what Jesus felt as He wept for Jerusalem while announcing its judgment. I am not hoping for judgment; I am saying it is inevitable. I don't know where the unbiblical belief comes from that says a nation can live any way it pleases, can reject God and His ways-even mock Him-and not receive His judgments. Nor do I know when the belief came that it is always mean-spirited or judgmental to warn of these things. To the contrary, I believe it is our responsibility.

In warning of judgment, I am not suggesting that God is going to intentially and directly hurt people. Much judgment is simply the absence of God's protection and provision, caused by a rejection of His laws and ways. We have been experiencing some forms of judgment in America for years, but God in His incredible patience and mercy has kept us from the level we've deserved. I believe this will change to a degree and judgment will now increase:

  • For those in the Church who aligned themselves with pro-abortion forces, I believe judgment will result.
  • For leaders in the Body of Christ who refused to take a stand for fear of losing people, money, and tax-exempt status-I believe there will be a degree of judgment.
  • For those, both within the Church and without, who voted money over morality-a potential raise or better health insurance over the life of a baby-there will be judgment. (The irony is that this decision to base one's vote on the hopes of a better economy won't produce the hoped for result anyway. The scriptures teach that it is righteousness which exalts a nation and that the nation is blessed whose God is the Lord.)

I have heard the argument that God cares as much about social justice issues (such as poverty and racism) as He does abortion, making a vote for Obama OK. I certainly believe God puts a very high priority on caring for the poor and I, too, have wanted to see equality demonstrated through a "minority" president. But to equate having a better income or the desire for a first black president, regardless of his positions on abortion and morality, to the issue of killing 50 million babies is not justice-it is a gross distortion of justice and great deception. I fear that we have been desensitized to this issue of abortion. I believe it kills babies and takes innocent life. I also believe it is blood sacrifice that empowers demons. Let's not forget this in our noble attempts to be kind and conciliatory.

For African Americans I can easily see how it could bring healing to have a first black president, just as it would be for Native Americans to achieve this or for women if a woman were elected president. Again, I have wanted to see justice in this way. I am only saddened that the price for this healing ended up being Barak Obama, a man that will set the cause of life and, most-likely, our God-given destiny as a nation back so drastically. (I also realize there are some who interpret any criticism of Obama as racism. Racism is so NOT what I am about nor what I live, that I will not even dignify any such accusations with a response.)

What Can We Expect?

What are some of the judgments we can expect on our nation from this election?

  • More economic woes
  • More violence in an already violent nation
  • Disease and death (satan, who is responsible for these things will have greater inroads to our nation.)
  • Natural disasters (weather-tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, drought; fires; earthquakes; etc.)
  • Terrorism (they will fear us much less now)
  • War, perhaps on our own soil
  • Judgments relating to the Court. The stacking of the Supreme Court against the sanctity of life and God's influence on America will occur, which will in turn cause the shedding of more innocent blood, more rejection of God's laws and the stealing from us of our godly heritage-all of which will perpetuate a cycle of even more judgment.

How Did This Happen?

I've been asked if this could have been averted had there been more prayer. I'm not sure. I believe there was a remnant of Christians fervently praying over these elections-I don't think there was anything more they could have done. Others, obviously, should have done more. The complacency and lack of discernment concerning our real condition in America-especially by the Church-is both appalling and horrifying. America is in serious trouble and it seems no one wants to say it. Fewer still are willing to do anything to change it.

Though I understand our reasons, we must be careful in our attempts to placate our feelings and calm our fears through religious phrases like "God is still on the throne" or "God has a plan". He was on His throne 35 years and 50 million babies ago. And He had a plan back then. The problem is, it was us. I understand our reasons for waving high the banner of God's sovereignty at times like these-it gives us hope. I will wave it, as well. But please be careful with this. Too much emphasis on God's sovereignty and we're worthless; too little and we're hopeless. Maybe we should say, "we lost a critical battle but God will give us strategy to win the war." Then find the strategy.

But still yet, since God is usually willing to work through a remnant, I thought we had enough prayer. Obviously, God decided otherwise. There comes a time when He will not forgive or bless the majority based on the prayers or actions of only a few. America rejected God and asked for a king; I believe we now have our Saul (see 1 Samuel 8:5-7)-a man who does not have God's heart for America but his own. Like Israel in scripture, our nation believes it can turn from God and still be blessed. In His mercy and justice He will show us otherwise.

Like many, believing I had many promises and confirmations that God would "grace" us with a pro-life president in this election, I failed to consider strongly enough that all promises-even scripture-are conditional 99.9% of the time. Though I never prophesied or made guarantees that McCain-Palin would win, failing to factor this principle in strongly enough no doubt caused me to share my optimism with others inappropriately. If this caused any harm or confusion, I apologize.

Has the fact that my prayers weren't answered shaken my faith? No. I'm a little confused and discouraged. I'm also somewhat angry at the nation in general and much of the Church. Mostly I'm grieving over the nation and what this will cost us. I am not, however, angry with God and do not question His justice. And it is not true that we wasted our time, energy and money in our efforts anymore than it is a waste when we share the gospel with people who don't get saved. We must keep in the forefront of our thinking the fact that ultimately we are doing this for Him and that He will reward us for our faithfulness. And who knows, perhaps He will store up all those prayers for the next battle (Revelation 5:8, 8:3-5).

A friend and fellow warrior said it well, "We did 'give it our all.' I know the Lord was pleased with that. A coach wants to know one thing at the end of a heartbreaking sports loss: 'Did you leave it all on the field?' (your passion, your commitment, your strength, your
courage, etc.) I know that we 'left it all on the field.' We didn't hold anything back until the game ended. Tragically, it ended in defeat. We will rise for another day because Jesus is worthy."

Where Do We Go from Here?

Does this election outcome shake my faith that we can see a great awakening and ultimately reformation in America? Absolutely not (and it strengthens my resolve). We will simply get there through greater pain and loss. Even my passion to see the Supreme Court shift is not from a presupposition that there can be no spiritual awakening without it. It is simply due to my deep conviction that their decisions bring so much death, destruction, curses and judgment to America; and because our full destiny as a nation is unquestionably linked to their decisions. So, yes, we will get an awakening and reformation; but the reality is that this reformation of the nation will reform the Supreme Court (and government, in general), not vice-versa. My faith has never been in people or a political party; my faith is in the God who works through them.

I've been asked if my feelings about Sarah Palin have changed. They have not. I believe she is an Esther, a Deborah, with a huge mantle from God for reformation. God has a great destiny for her related to this nation if she chooses to continue down this path.

So, in conclusion, we must re-group as an apostolic, praying church and advance. We must maintain an immovable faith in God, His plans for America and His mercy. And we must move beyond simply asking God for a spiritual awakening and ask Him for strategy to produce reformation, as well. I, for one, am just getting started!

For God and this great nation,

MATT SORGER'S PROPHETIC WORD FOR THE NATION

Here's one of the prophetic words that came out of the MSM Open Heavens Conference. Here Matt Sorger prophetically tells us about how God wants change in America too.

Don't forget to vote!

For McCain-Palin.

SPIRITUAL SHIFTING OVER THE LAND

We knew there was going to be a spiritual shift over the nation at this conference. (I put it up on my Facebook status days before the conference!) We knew it was going to affect the presidential elections. And talk about timing -- the MSM Open Heavens Conference: Releasing the Apostolic and Prophetic on Long Island, NY, began this Thursday night -- just days before the election! And, thank God it did!

It doesn't matter what TV's political pundits are saying over who's winning the election, we know that God will be casting His vote next Tuesday as to who He wants in office.

It was a kairos moment for this nation and it all centered at the Marriott Hotel in Islandia, NY, where three top named Christian leaders converged in a spiritual onslaught against the demonic forces keeping revival from occurring in the nation.

The forces include witchcraft and spiritism.

The road to Washington, DC (with the overturn of Roe V Wade and the victory of a born-again and Spirit-filled candidate Sarah Palin) first starts in New York! Why? Because there was a spiritual hindrence in this state that prevented, up to now, a victory in the elections. Upstate New York, it turns out, was the starting point for demonic forces being unleashed from spiritism. Until that demonic stronghold was vanquished, there would be no holding back Satan's strategy for the election -- a Barack win.

Dutch Sheets didn't know why he was there on Long Island. He always seeks the Lord as to where he should accept invitations. It wasn't until he got there at the conference that it became apparent that he was there because a spiritual shifting was about to take place over the region, and in turn over the nation.

Dutch was joined with New York based evangelist and host of the conference Matt Sorger and by prophet Jane Hamon. Strong spiritual warfare and intercession was pronounced by the trio -- each being inspired by God for this titanic political battle.

With the McCain-Palin win at the White House, the nation will enter into a era of unprecedented revival -- such as we've never seen before. Dutch says that there will come a time when a televised sporting event will witness a miraculous healing of a man's legs -- and many will turn to God.

I have more to report about this, but I can't go into all details now. But suffice it to say that McCain-Palin will win this election -- but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't do your part and vote.

Dutch has also stated, what I've also believed, that Palin will one day be our president too.

COULD THIS TURN THE ELECTION?

A seven-year-old radio broadcast of Barack Obama was unearthed recently and it presents more details of an Obama administration's planned CHANGEover to a socialistic society. Obama, in this Chicago Public Radio interview, methodically explains the best way to "redistribute wealth."

In a more recent TV interview with Obama's running mate, Joe Biden, Florida's anchorwoman Barbara West finally challenged the democratic candidate about Obama's socialistic leanings. Biden flipped out -- not having been prepared for a tough questioner.

I'm sure that the John McCain campaign will capitalize on this theme in the short few days left for this campaign.

All things -- in the natural -- look bleak for the republicans. But it also looked bleak for the Israelites when they were chased to the River Nile by hoarding Egyptians.

It will probably take God's intervention to see a McCain-Palin win. But that's just so we know that God gets the glory.

THE CHRISTIAN DIVIDE

In more than twenty-five years in covering the political news, I've never seen a more divisive Christian community over a presidential election as I have in this one. (Or, should I add that one.)

Passions are inflamed. Mindsets are dug deep. Truth is skirted. Change is demanded, even if the change of direction is downward.

But particularly jarring is the Christian community. How can the body of Jesus Christ come to such a divide over this issue? Do Christians frame this election more around a physical context than a spiritual one? It would sadly appear to be so.

We have a female vice presidential candidate, Sarah Palin, who is a Holy-Ghost, Spirit-filled Christian, who can conceivably bring righteousness to the White House. So, why in heaven's name would anyone in the Church of Jesus Christ vote against the Holy Spirit in the White House?

The argument for all professing Christians stops there! There should be no more debate after this question. If you are a lover of Jesus Christ, you'd want the Holy Spirit in the White House -- period! Righteousness exalts a nation (Pro 14:34).

Are you more supportive of anything in the physical realm than you are of the Spiritual? Ask yourself what should come before the Holy Spirit in the White House? Is it your economic situation? Is it charisma? (don't worry, the anti-Christ will have that too!) Is it the color of one's skin?

What is it that would hold prominence over the Holy Spirit in the White House? It's important for all Christians to check their hearts on this one. I pray God's mercy over this election. Heaven help our eyes to be opened.

THE SUPREME COURT SIDES WITH FRAUD

It appears that everywhere you look there is more and more odds being stacked up against the McCain-Palin ticket.

The latest salvo was the U.S. Supreme Court ruling, which sided with Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner in her dispute with Republicans over voter fraud perpetuated by ACORN. Earlier in the week, a lower Ohio court ruling ordered Brunner to set up a system that would weed out fraudulent new voter registrations.

So, the Supreme Court conceivably provided the groundwork for unchecked large-scale voter fraud on Election Day.
This was certainly a wrong decision by the court.

Unfortunately, there are other wrong decisions being made by conservative friends too, like Peggy Noonan and Colin Powell, both of whom are either leaning toward Barack Obama or critical of McCain-Palin.

Then, too, is the incredibly unfair coverage of the campaign by the liberal media. Then, too, is the incredibly gullible public, which would love to be seduced into change.

So, take a look at the landscape -- and it looks bleak for McCain-Palin.

But then God...

Thank God that He is a miracle-working God that can still come through for us when all else looks bleak. There is still hope for this election.

MR PLUMBER GOES TO WASHINGTON

It just seems that the thick fog is clearing away from the political landscape after Joe (the Plumber) Wurzelbacher became the featured topic in last night's presidential debate between John McCain and Barack Obama.

Joe epitomizes the middle class who are worried that Obama will tax them heavily. He became an overnight sensation recently when he appeared at an Obama rally (see video previously listed here at this site) and voiced his concern about being overly taxed.

Obama hollowly tried to appease his concern by insisting that he'll use Joe's money to "spread the wealth around." That did it! Joe may have been a Godsend.

Quite often, in order to win an election you'll need to create a simple little image that transcends the rhetoric and pierces through the campaign fog. Do you recall Presidential Candidate
Mike Dukakis riding in an extra large helmut? -- that image solidified his defeat against George Bush Sr.

Joe the Plumber may very well personify the image of the little guy resentful of paying higher taxes. Joe comes across to the American public in a way that McCain hasn't been able to.

By the way, Joe's helped boost McCain in recent polls. Go Joe!

THE POLITICS OF HOLLYWOOD

Why is it that in Hollywood Warner Bros would delay the release of an interview favorable to John McCain till after the election (here), while Oliver Stone releases his satirical movie about President George Bush just days before the election (here)?

Could it be B-I-A-S?

The John McCain item is actually a DVD version of the 1987 movie Hanoi Hilton, which featured special segments of an interview with John McCain about his imprisonment during the Vietnam war.

We wouldn't want to make John McCain sound like a hero now, would we?

It does pose an interesting question: would Barack Obama serve this country as honorably as John McCain has?

ANOTHER KEY TO WINNING THIS ELECTION -- OHIO

We've been keeping an eye on the U.S. presidential election. The last great debate of the campaign is set for Hofstra University tonight, on my very own Long Island, NY. Tickets are as rare as an Acorn agent registering a Republican to vote.

But Prophet Julie Meyer continues to bring revelation about this upcoming election. She offers a key to having a McCain-Palin win! Check it out -- it's intercession and the cry for mercy over change!

(I wonder if Sarah Palin has seen these prophetic words?)

WHY OHIO?

Anyhow, I'm wondering how Ohio figures into this prophetic word? Meyer says that Ohio "will be given the key to tip the scales for justice" in America. Perhaps it's the voter irregularities perpetuated by Barack's former associate ACORN (why is it that everywhere you look, Barack has an association with an unethical group?).

ACORN uses illegal tactics in getting democrats to register to vote, whether they are alive or dead, underage or over-registered -- even if they're cartoon characters (I didn't know Mickey Mouse was a democrat!).

ACORN'S voter irregularities have sprung up all over the country -- in key battleground states. But let's get back to Ohio. Did you know that a U.S. federal
district court judge has found Ohio's Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner guilty of violating federal election laws? The ruling goes to the heart of the ACORN-centered voter fraud epidemic spreading across the country.

Democrat Brunner, who has appealed the ruling, simply does not want to comply with a federal requirement to match new voter registration data with the information in the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles and Social Security Administration databases.

Now, Ohio has three days to comply with federal regulations to (1) verify the eligibility of newly registered voters and (2) make the information available to the state's 88 county election boards. And, this ruling must also refer to last week's early votes that were cast as soon as ACORN registered some democrats!

As of now, Brunner has estimated that close to 200,000 registrants, or one in every three new voters, do not match federal records and will end up on court-ordered lists.

We'll keep an eye on Ohio, shall we?

THOSE WORTHLESS POLLS

The various polls across the nation seem to look bad for McCain-Palin. September, according to Prophet Dutch Sheets, was supposed to be the month in which the blindness over the eyes of the people (both in the church and in the nation) will be uncovered.

I still believe that the uncovering has begun and I still believe that McCain-Palin will win the election -- despite the fact that the polls don't show it: REGARDLESS.

You can't go by polls.

During the election campaign of my favorite president, Ronald Reagan, all the polls had Reagan and President Jimmy Carter in a dead heat. Imagine the surprise of the pollsters when the Gipper wins a landslide of 49 states to one.

I still believe that God is in control of this election and we'll see a McCain-Palin win, but we need to pray for God's mighty hand. The stakes are just too crucial for this nation at this time. We're at the point where we can reverse a 40 year slide toward immorality! We can do it!

Stand tall -- on your knees.

SARAH PALIN: MODERN DAY ESTHER

The liberal pundits were already erecting the tombstone for the McCain-Palin ticket days before the Vice Presidential Debate. Liberal voices spoke of Sarah Palin as one who couldn't count to three -- then we find that Sarah not only could stand toe-to-toe with a long entrenched Washington insider, but that she could come out on top.

Her command of the debate, sprinkled with her poise, grace, and humor, had Dick Morris, former aide to President Bill Clinton, call her a great modern communicator, in the fashion of Ronald Reagan.

Special Note to the McCain campaign: LET SARAH BE SARAH!

Or, let her be Esther...

Take a read on this prophetic word given to Sarah Palin. In short, Ohio Pastor Mark Arnold was given a prophetic word to deliver to Sarah on September 9, 2008. Here is the word delivered at a political rally, as recalled by Pastor Arnold:

It was at this moment ... I was now face-to-face with her, and God said, “Open up your mouth and I will fill it.”

Here is what came out:
“God wants you to know that you are a present-day Esther!”

[She immediately began to cry!]

“God wants to tell you that you are chosen for such a time as this!
You are called, and chosen to be a leader. Don't lose heart and don't fear man. The news and naysayers and criticizers are going to be very hateful toward you … and in the days ahead they are going to turn up the heat … but do not fear.”

“You are a present-day Esther. You are an Esther. You are an Esther! Keep your eyes on God and know that He has chosen you to reign!”

“Stay strong ... be strong ... don't tire. Don't be weary in well-doing. Be strong.”

Her husband, Todd, came over, and I told him what I told her. He began to cry. I emphasized the fact that he was to guard her at this time … and know that “she is God-called and God-anointed.”

“This is a God-thing and your wife is a present-day Esther ... she is for God to use at this time ... she is an Esther ... she is an Esther ... she is an Esther.”

“You will be hated … but stand strong … God has called both of you to stand!
We are praying and I am praying for you!”

At this moment, McCain came right to where I was finishing talking to Todd, and I told Mr. McCain exactly what I told to Sarah and Todd Palin.

“Mr. McCain … they are called of God and she is an Esther. Don't lose hope and don't lose heart. We are praying for all of you!”

He shook my hand and with a deep look of understanding what I had just said, he said, “Thank you for your prayers and support ... I really do mean that!”

And he turned and shook more hands … and I watched them as they went through the crowd.

Wow! How awesome that God is keenly aware of what's going on, even working things out behind the scenes. THANK GOD for His abundant grace towards this nation at this time.

McCAIN -- OBAMA? Which for Christians?

Keep an eye on Matt Sorger. Matt is my favorite Christian leader. Matt, a prophetic evangelist who is based in Long Island, NY, is being called to become more and more prominent in the world's scene. In this video, Matt calls upon the Christian community to vote for righteousness this coming presidential election.

I really love this video, because it's a call to action for those who want to see righteousness invade the land -- something that IS POSSIBLE!!

Don't be settled in your mind, thinking that the way it's always been will always be. Or, that Satan has too much power to see any change for the good.

NO!!

It's that mindset that needs to go! God wants to invade the land with His glory. It's coming! It's on the way!

We can see in this generation a reversal away from sin and toward the preeminence of God. But you need to join the cause in hope, faith and prayer.

FIRST LESSON WHEN ATTACKING: DO SELF NO HARM!

The campaign of Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama, as promised, came out swinging against opponent John McCain, and ended up giving itself a kick in the stomach. In this new Obama campaign video, McCain is ridiculed for neither knowing how to use a computer nor how to send emails.

But the reason McCain doesn't use a computer at all is because of the injuries he sustained as a Prisoner of War fighting for our country. The severe injuries prevents him from tying his shoes, combing his hair, or typing on a keyboard.

Ouch!

Perhaps this is one of the indicators prophesied by Dutch Sheets, in which he stated that beginning in the month of September God was going to begin lifting off the "cords of confusion" off the presidential election.

SEPTEMBER: THE CHANGEOVER MONTH

Prophetic Intercessor Dutch Sheets came out with a major prophetic word for the month of September, 2008. It speaks specifically about the matter I was most concerned about: confusion in the nation (politically) and in the church (post-Lakeland). And there's a part in it that reminded me about what Prophetic Revivalist Matt Sorger had prophesied last year.

Let's first check out this word by Dutch. Here's good news. Read this and pray along with it, expecting God to move on our behalf.

Get Ready for September! It is so huge on God’s timetable that it will mark one of the greatest shifts in the spiritual realm our generation has ever seen:

* A season of suddenlies will begin

* The confusion and deception ruling America (including within the Church) will begin to lift

* The November elections will shift toward God’s will

* The coming great awakening to America will go to a new level

* The “presence movement” will begin

A Season of Suddenlies
I have heard of divine “suddenlies” all my life and have no doubt experienced a few. However, I have never been in what I would call a season of suddenlies. I’m in one now! And this new season is about to break forth in a significant way for those who have allowed God to prepare them for it. I was already releasing this word when Chuck Pierce prophesied to me two weeks ago, “you will stand on the steps facing The Mall (in Washington DC) in September and decree ‘suddenlies are coming!’ Be prepared for I will begin to jar and to rearrange what needs to be rearranged.”

This season will usher in many changes -- get ready!

Confusion and Deception Broken
The level of confusion and deception I have seen over America the last two years—both in the Church and without—has been unlike anything I have ever witnessed. The level of it, especially in the body of Christ, has truly been shocking to me. The list of areas in which it has manifested is broad: presidential candidate endorsements and prophecies; doctrinal error; relational breakups; disagreements over what is true and false revival; etc. Add to this list a general weariness, complacency (one well known leader told me he doesn’t think it matters anymore who is elected president—so much for shifting the Supreme Court!), disillusionment, disorientation, etc. and it all adds up to incredible confusion and deception. I believe it is all linked to our war in Iraq, which is ancient Babylon. Babylon, of course, means “confusion.” It was not difficult for us to defeat Iraq’s physical army, but the principality—the spirit of Babylon—has been another story altogether.

Just a couple of weeks ago, however, I heard the Holy Spirit very clearly say to me, “I’m about to unravel the cords of confusion.” When I heard this I had the sense that it would begin in September. In 2 Chronicles 20, God used Israel’s worship to “ambush” their enemies. The result was that these enemies destroyed one another! Expect the confusion to break off of the church this fall for and God’s enemies to be ambushed.

The November Elections
To say it has been troubling to listen to prominent Christian leaders endorse certain candidates and/or prophesy that it is God’s will for those candidates to be president would be an understatement. Make no mistake about it, the turning of the Supreme Court and reversing the flow of death and anti-God laws that have flowed out of it is still god’s number one governmental agenda for America. To elect a pro-abortion candidate that would appoint pro-abortion judges would be disastrous and could set us back 50 years. It doesn’t matter who prophecies or states otherwise—don’t be deceived by this. It is NOT God’s will for us to have a liberal, pro-abortion president!

I listened to one of the presidential candidates make a speech four years ago and heard one of the strongest abilities for deceiving and moving the masses I’ve ever witnessed. The strength of this “gift” was very scary. I knew then he would be a candidate for president in ’08. The good news is that the deception surrounding him will begin to break in September and the momentum of the elections will be decided at that time – if the church prays. Please pray diligently, and don’t be taken in by charisma and empty promises of change.

The Presence Movement
The coming awakening will not be known as a prayer movement, apostolic movement, prophetic movement, teaching movement, miracle movement, gifts movement, glory movement, etc. It will include all of these but the dominant emphasis and characteristic will be His presence. He-- not one of His manifestations or elements of gifting – will be the focal point.

What a refreshing word. Well, Dutch isn't one to be beating around the bush, is he? Who do you think he wants you to vote for?

Now here's an interesting sidebar. You read where Dutch talks about a Presence Movement, in which the presence of God will be ever more noticeable in our daily lives? I recall that Matt gave a similar word last year.

Let's review Matt's word now:

THE DAYS OF HIS PRESENCE
A NOW PROPHETIC WORD TO THE CHURCH

MATT SORGER: Mark this night. Mark this night. For you are crossing over tonight. I say the day is not at hand. I say the day is here. I say it’s not a time yet to come. But I say today is the day, this is the hour and this is the place – oh, for you my people. I’ve heard the prayers. I’ve heard the cries. Yes, I’ve heard the prayers. I’ve seen the cries, and I am here – I’ve come. I’ve come into your midst.

Now is the time, this is the place for you. For even this night, I’ve chosen this place to be a house of My glory. For the Lord says you have not entered into a house tonight that has been built by the hands of man. The Lord says you’ve entered into a house – a habitation of My Spirit.

So many in this hour, they’re looking out into the distance and they’re saying ‘He’s coming, He’s coming, He’s coming! Revival is coming!’ But I proclaim to you tonight that the Lord is here. He’s in this house. And tonight, this is a habitation of His glory. This is a habitation of His glory tonight and I proclaim to you that a door has been opened – a door of the Lord, a door of His presence. And you can walk right through.

A NEW SEASON FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST
IT’S A NEW SEASON. IT’S A NEW SEASON. And this new season will be known as the Days of My Presence, for the Lord came in power, for the Lord came in might -- the Days of My Presence.

You’re turning around into your new season tonight. Tonight is the night of the turnaround. The Lord is turning around all things. I prophesy a turning around of your walk with God. You’re turning around right into your new season tonight. This is a season of a new history for the Church.

We’ve entered a new season that will be called the Days of His Presence. And the Lord said the gatherings of His people will be marked by unusual manifestations of God’s presence. When His people gather, there’ll be an unusual awareness of His presence in their midst. When two or more gather together there’ll be an unusual sense of My presence. Gatherings will begin to be marked with this touch of God, this touch of Heaven.

WE SHOULD NOW EXPECT THE DAYS OF HIS PRESENCE IN OUR LIVES IN GREATER MEASURE!

As a reminder, Dutch will be one of three invited speakers at Matt Sorger's upcoming Apostolic and Prophetic Conference, Oct 30-Nov 1, 2008, Islandia, NY. The other leaders joining Matt will be Prophetess Jane Hamon, and Robert Stearns of Eagles Wings.

THE WORLD WANTS AN OBAMA NATION!

Who would the world vote for in this upcoming U.S. presidential election? Well, the BBC has polled the world, and -- hold everything, folks! -- the world says they want Sen Barack Obama!

Well, thank God, they can't vote in our elections -- unless, of course, they're illegal immigrants!

Democrat Obama was favored by a four-to-one margin across the 22,500 people polled in 22 countries.

But, I will tell you why the world would want Obama over Sen John McCain. And it's a very simple answer -- Obama would weaken U.S. power and prestige in the world and reduce us to an impotent country the world could lead by the nose. Obama is more of an internationalist than he is a nationalist. His world view would call for dialogue with terrorist groups and nations, and for international consensus before proceeding with U.S. defense interests.

McCain, on the other hand, would defend U.S. interests over the world's objections.

But getting back to the world: this is the same world, mind you, that still can't agree on who attacked the U.S. on 9/11! Yep, that's right! There's another poll that came out suggesting that the world is still divided over the question. The survey of 16,063 people in 17 nations found majorities in only nine countries that believe al Qaeda was behind the attacks on New York and Washington that killed about 3,000 people in 2001. Egypt suggests Israel was responsible. Mexico blames the U.S. Government. And one out of every four polled didn't have a clue.

This is why we don't want people outside the U.S. to vote in our elections!

THE CHURCH WILL HAVE A VOICE

Do you realize that for generations the enforcement of the so-called "Separation of Church and State" has always been the devil's tactics to silence the church to speak out against sin and the eroding of our society. This pernicious mindset has allowed society to marginalize the moral majority of this nation by not giving them a voice in elections!

And so, for generations we've seen the nation sliding into moral depravity. And, ministers of the gospel since 1954 were conveniently silenced by the US Government, insisting that if American Pastors get tax breaks, they can't speak out in political discourse. Why? This foolishness has got to stop. It is grossly unfair to prevent moral leaders from speaking out against the sin and decadence in our land. These moral leaders have the right and authority by God to speak out. Cry aloud, spare not. Lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show My people their sins (Isaiah 58:1).

Well, it appears that the sleeping giant of a church is about to arouse out of slumber now. The Washington Post is reporting that the Alliance Defense Fund is seeking to challenge Internal Revenue Service rulings in court! Keep this in prayer. This is key strategic times for America and the expected shift for more of God in our land.

We are going to witness the greatest outpouring of God's Spirit ever to penetrate this nation. We're keenly interested in seeing Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin fulfill God's divine will for her life and the nation's. So, lots of good things to be hopeful about. And by all means VOTE McCain-Palin! They are the change that Sen Obama has called for.

We'll be talking more about the elections soon. Be blessed.
